Each year we offer a limited number of premium beef boxes, allowing families to reserve beef from animals raised within the SP Pastoral network.
This is not supermarket beef.
It is pasture-raised beef you can follow from calf to freezer.

Reserve Your Place in the SP Pastoral Beef Program
Rather than selling beef after processing, we offer customers the opportunity to reserve a share of an animal while it is still being raised.
This allows you to:
• follow the progress of the steer
• receive occasional farm updates and photos
• see how the cattle are handled and raised
• know exactly where your beef comes from
When the animal reaches finishing weight it is professionally processed and prepared into balanced quarter beef boxes.
What is a Quarter Beef Box?
Each SP Pastoral steer is shared between eight families.
Every customer receives a balanced quarter beef box containing approximately:
22–25 kg of premium pasture-raised beef
Boxes include a selection of cuts such as:
• premium steaks
• roasting cuts
• slow-cook cuts
• mince
• BBQ cuts
All meat is:
• professionally processed
• vacuum packed
• clearly labelled
• ready for the freezer

SP Pastoral Quarter Beef Boxes
Price:
$18 per kg
Typical box weight:
22–25 kg
Typical box price:
$400 – $450
Final price depends on the finished weight of the animal.
How the Program Works
1️⃣ Reserve Your Box
Reserve your share with a $100 deposit.
2️⃣ Follow the Steer
Receive occasional updates from the farm as the animal grows and moves through the paddocks.
3️⃣ Processing
Animals are processed through a licensed local abattoir and cutting facility.
Beef is professionally aged and vacuum packed.
4️⃣ Collection
Boxes will be available for local collection on the Mid North Coast once processing is complete.
Limited Annual Production
SP Pastoral is a small-scale pasture operation.
We typically finish around six steers per year, producing approximately:
48 beef boxes annually
Because of this limited production, reservations are recommended.
